Located at Misurata - the third largest city of Libya on the coast of the Mediterranean sea some 210 KM East of Tripoli (the capital of Libya)surrounded by the sea and the golden sands with tall palm and shady olive trees and beautiful buildings ,The College of Industrial Technology (CIT) , is one of the Higher Education Institutes belonging to the General Secretary of Higher Education. It was founded on January 30,1988 by the General Secretary's decision No. 35 in 1988 and was readjusted in 1992 (by the General Secretary's decision No 315). The College is industrially oriented education school and has been producing quality engineers to sustain the country adorn itself with industrial engineering professionals and individuals to make nobler changes in the society. The staff and the students of CIT collaborate closely with the industry to fulfill its aim of providing the industry with highly skilled human resources within the various disciplines of technology and engineering carried out at the Institute. The legal and systematic establishment has authorized the Institute to grant the following degrees and certifications : * Higher National Diploma . ( H. N. D. ) * Bachelor of Technology . ( B. Tech. ) * Master of Technology . ( M. Tech. ) in order to carry out and setup the training programs in different fields , to facilitate the studies and researches, and to introduce the technical consultations in all technical fields. |
