Ø  Ph.D. in Broadband Communication Networks , from Department of Electrical Engineering University of Cape Town, South Africa 2003. (Awarded as best PhD Thesis for 2003).

Ph.D. Thesis Title: Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation in Broadband ATM Networks.

Areas of Research: NGN, Traffic and congestion control mechanisms design, bandwidth allocation in IP and ATM networks, IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).

Ø  M.Sc. in Telecommunications and Information systems, obtained from Aligarh Muslim University, India in 1993.

Ø  B.Sc.  in Telecommunications and Electronics, obtained from Department of Electrical & electronic Engineering Alfateh University, Tripoli, Libya in 1989.

§  Between Feb. 1990 to March 1993, I was employed as a Telecommunication specialist at ministry of industry in Higher Institute of Industry.(Libya) and other Libyan Universities. I was involved on, teaching, consultation, and training.

§  Since May, 1993 onwards, I have been employed as Assistant professor at the Higher Institute of Industry, and taught  the following courses:

1.       Next generation networks (Postgraduate)

2.       Applied statistics (Postgraduate course).

3.       Advanced Data and Computer Networks (Postgraduate course).

4.       High Speed Data networks (Postgraduate course).
